HEAT WAVE

Just a reminder we will be getting out at 1:05 all week!  Also please feel free to send water bottles with your child to school.  If you do please make sure the lid goes on tight and it doesn't leak.  We have a drinking fountain and it is used a lot, but the line is sometimes long and kids are more likely to stay hydrated with a water bottle!  Thanks and I hope you are all enjoying a little extra summer weather with your kiddos!

Week 1

We have officially finished one full week of school.  It has been a hot and sweaty few days, but we are all staying positive and keeping our proactive can do attitudes in check.  We have done a lot of reviewing rules and expectations.  This week will be starting to try our out leader rolls in the classroom.  Feel free to ask your child what their roll is for now.  Everyone has a job to do, and all the jobs are important!  Just a reminder your child should have brought home their Data Notebook on Friday.  If they did not they will be brining it home this week on Friday. I am looking forward to meeting you all tonight I am starting to get excited and nervous for our first day of school.  I wonder if any of you will have a hard time going to bed tonight like me.  When you arrive at orientation please be sure I get to meet you right away.  Then you will find some items on your desk and directions on the board for both you and your parents.  For those of you who don't know where our room is I am next door to Mrs. Willadsen who teaches 1st grade.  We are the second door after the restrooms.  I am looking forward to meeting each of you.
